I loved meeting up with these two leading up to their wedding. A good few cups of coffee was consumed during each planning session! Pete & Rach had so many awesome ideas and their excitement for the Big Day was contagious – it was also cool to see that Pete was just as involved in the planning.
Rach would lovingly refer to her bridesmaids as 'the geese' – apparently they were fiercely committed to their bride and would take anyone out who made the planning process anything less than a delight for her. These are the kind of girls you need on your side!
Pete admittedly spent a good while doing and redoing his mustache that morning, the result being pretty impressive! Needless to say, the kilts provided endless entertainment for the gents during the day – they look rather good in tartan! I love seeing family traditions and heritage come through in a wedding. I may have gotten shunned a few times for calling it a skirt. It is definitely NOT a skirt.
The day in Greyton couldn't have been more perfect – beautiful sun rays streaming through the clouds. Guests ventured to the top of a koppie for the ceremony and the view was definitely worth the trek. The day was spent enjoying the sunshine with friends and family and dancing the night away under the stars.
Pete & Rach, being part of your celebration was so special, thank you!
