Getting married in the middle of winter, you can understand why Tiffany & Justin made preparations for a chilly celebration. But instead of grey skies they got blue, and instead of rain they got sunshine! That's the thing I love about the Cape - complain all you want about the wet winter, we get some pretty amazing sunny days to balance it out.
I think Die Woud might be my new favourite wedding venue. This forest is so quiet & peaceful, you can't help but close your eyes and breathe a little deeper. This stunning setting was where the couple said they're 'I do's' in front of benches filled with loved ones. A special appearance was made by their little boy and girl.
As the day cooled down, guests moved toward the fire pits, drinks and starters in hand, live music in the background. And at just the right moment, we took the newlyweds back into the forest as the setting sun was streaming golden light through the trees. These two had such a genuine, comfortable and familiar love that was such a joy to witness.
There was no delay in getting this party started and I suspect the dance floor was packed till the early hours of the morning!
Mr & Mrs Bacon, thank you for such a fun filled day!
