Justin and Tara's wedding day was any photographers dream to shoot. The dramatic, bare landscape of the Karoo, a breathtaking sunset, a rustic reception in an old barn, guests dressed to vintage perfection, a groom in a top hat and a bride in cowboy boots. The ceremony was outdoors and decorated so subtly that the heavy clouds and open fields were the perfect backdrop as they promised themselves to one another.
Just as the sun was setting and we were ending off our photo session an extraordinary thing happened. Seven horses came galloping out of the open field and stood in a line for a moment - just long enough for us to take in the moment. And then they were gone, leaving clouds of dust and a breathless wedding party. Time and time again I've seen how the most significant and special moments on your wedding day is completely unexpected and unplanned.
