I’ve got a feeling you’re really going to enjoy this one. Jono & Mischa are two creatives living in the city and they made these two aspects the focus of their wedding day. Their ceremony, photo shoot and reception all literally took place in the middle of Cape Town. And I love how they totally surrounded the day with artwork from their friends. The whole event was a showcase and celebration of their love, as well as a showcase and celebration of creativity. From the flowers and table names to the invites and framed pieces of the couple. It was amazing to be surrounded by so much talent.
These two are also detail people, which I’m sure you can deduce from looking at the gold heel on the bride’s shoes and the tiny hearts on the groom’s shirt. Oh and can we talk about his jacket & her flower crown for a moment!? The whole day was a visual feast.
It was also a beautifully intimate occasion and took place in the National Library of South Africa. Friends and family gathered around tables to watch the couple say I do and then we ventured into the city to take some photos in a few of the newlywed’s favourite spots, including The Labia & Mabu Vinyl. We came back and lunch was served (add that to the list of amazing skills please because WOW). Of course, the day was ended with some more talent, this time on the dance floor.
Fish & Mischa, it was glorious documenting your day, you two stylish humans!
