What a wedding! So many details to swoon over – those eyes, that flower crown, the cake & the décor just to mention a few of my favourites!
When I first met Jacques & Emma for coffee, I very quickly got the idea that this would be no ordinary wedding celebration. When I asked about the décor, Emma replied with a sneaky grin – it would colourful & 'eccentric'. Well now I was sold & my curiosity peaked!
The décor reflected the bride's personality so perfectly – it was vibrant, creative, unexpected and bold yet tasteful & classy. I just couldn't get enough! Gold dinosaurs, bunnies that light up, succulents as wedding favours, a sparkly fortune cookie for each guest... I could go on, but you should rather scroll down and see for yourself.
The couple got hitched at the stunning Rondekuil venue in Durbanville, golden fields stretching far to the horizon as the backdrop. After that it was kissing in the venue's legendary old tram and posing in the setting sun for some photos.
Dinner was asian style take-aways served out of the Lotus food truck – another awesome touch to this amazing occasion.
Jacques & Emma, thank you so much for making me part of this incredible day!
Thank you Grace Charlotte for second shooting.
