The beautiful details of Dewald and Nicolette's wedding day had me oohing and aahing like crazy! I suppose that comes from the bride being a wedding planner herself. The reception venue was scattered with tons of little bunnies - some tiny and gold, some porcelain, some wood and some big and covered in grass. A stunning mix of succulents marked the ladies' seats while the gents had their names engraved in a piece of wood. The woodlands theme spread to the flowers, contrasting bright and fine with bold and dark florals.
Nicolette had the most incredible flower crown with marsala blooms, the pantone colour of 2015, to go with her shoes and just a bit of gold sparkle on her nails and in her ears.
The views at Altydlig and Blydschap were just incredible and we had a breathtaking sunset and perfect golden light just before the party started.
Now, these cakes (yes, plural) really deserve a special mention. Not only were there about FIVE different wedding cakes, and not only were they beautiful, but each one was DELICIOUS. Well, not that I tried each one, of course, I mean that's just what I heard...
Dewald and Nicolette, thank you that we could have a small part to play in this most special day!
Thanks again to the ever talented Carla from Carla Likes Photos for second shooting.
